How do I place an order?  There are three ways to place an order for prints from cmiphotography.com.

1)  Online:  Just click the "Add to Cart" button, the photograph will be added to your shopping cart.  When you are finished shopping just complete the transaction, by clicking the "View Cart" button and follow the directions on the screen. Shopping carts are non-global, meaning that purchase photos from different galleries will require separate payment for each gallery.

2) Order by telephone: If you are not comfortable placing your order and paying for it on the webpage, contact CMI Photography at (406)861-0763. If you get the message service please leave a day time and night time phone number and we will return your call.  If you leave an order on the message service please make sure to leave your name, address, telephone number, image numbers, size and quantities of the photos that you would like, be sure to leave your day time and night time phone number.  CMI Photography will call and verify the order with in 48 hours of receipt.  All orders must be paid for before processing, you will be instructed on how to make payment when we call you to verify the order

3) Order by US mail service:   Add the photos the you would like to purchase to the shopping cart, fill in all of the information and print. Mail the printed order form with payment to: CMI Photography, 3205 Rimrock Rd.  Billings, Montana 59102.  Be sure to put on the front of  the envelope Attention: Print Order.  If you are mailing in your order please be sure to include payment with your order.  Do not send cash in the mail, be sure to use a check, a USPS money order, or Visa or MasterCard. If you are using a credit card for payment be sure that all information is complete (credit card number, CVS number from the back of the card and the expiration date.) or your order will be delayed. Please make sure to include your email address so that CMI Photography can notify you when your order is shipped.

How do I receive my order ?    All orders will be shipped USPS.  If you would like to make other arrangement for delivery of your order please call us at 406-861-0763

What methods of payment can I use?   CMI Photography accepts personal checks, Visa and MasterCard for mail orders or phone orders. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover card for online payment through PayPal.

Who do I make my payment out to?   Please make all checks and money orders payable to CMI Photography.

How long will it take to get my order?  Depending on the size of the order, most clients will receive their print orders within ten to fifteen  working days (two to three weeks) after payment has been received.  If the client needs the prints  sooner than our normal turn around time, CMI Photography offers a rush service.

What is a rush service?  Our rush service is available on all prints 12x18 and smaller.  The client's order will be shipped over night (at the clients expense) within 24  hours  after the order has been placed.   The cost of the rush service is 100% of the total amount of the order plus actual cost of over night shipping.

Can I still use a credit card if I don't belong to PayPal? Yes, just call our studio at 406-861-0763 and we can take the information over the phone.  We only accept MasterCard and Visa for this type of transaction.

What is the PayPal invoicing system?  The PayPal invoicing system is a system set up with PayPal that allows cmiphotography.com to send our clients that prefer to pay with a credit card to do so.  The invoicing system is used when the images that the client wants to purchase are not set up with a shopping cart or the client would like to pick up the order from our office but would still like to pay with a credit card.  

How does the invoicing system work?  When we receive your order, either by email or in the mail and you would like to pay with a credit card, we send you , by email, an invoice.  The invoice is sent by PayPal.  If you are a member of PayPal, CMI Photography will email you an email notifying you that we sent an invoice.  Members will have to log on to their PayPal accounts to complete the transaction.  PayPal does not email members concerning the invoice.  If you are not a member of PayPal, PayPal will e-mail you a notice that you received the invoice and instructions on how to join PayPal.  Joining PayPal is free.  PayPal is safe to use, PayPal uses a secure server with 128 bit security.  PayPal takes the risk and worry out of shopping online.

What if I want to use a photo, that CMI Photography took , to put on my trailer or for promo cards?  Usages like this would be part of a licensing agreement.  Agreements  and fees vary as much as the usage of each image might vary.  The fees would be based upon the use of the image.  For example:  If a large beer company wanted to use a CMI Photography photograph for a nation wide campaign, they would pay more for the licensing fee than would a local racer who wanted to use the image for self promotion.  Contact CMI Photography for details and pricing for usage.

Does CMI Photography do onsite printing?  At this point in time, CMI Photography does not offer onsite printing.  CMI Photography offers onsite ordering with viewing stations.  With CMI Photography's viewing stations, clients can view, select and order photographs taken at that days event.  CMI Photography will process the order and ship to the clients specified address with in one week of the date of the event. After weighting the options of onsite printing or onsite ordering, we decided to pursue the onsite ordering to continue to provide our clients with the highest possible quality.  We would not be able to retain our high quality of product with onsite printing with out a very large investment, which would limit us to only being able to pursue very large events.

What if I don't want my photograph on the gallery pages of CMI Photography. com?  If you don't want your photo to be posted on the galleries, contact us and the photo will be removed.  We use the galleries as a proofing device for the sale of photos to racers.  The photos are not being used for commercial purposes other than proofing.

How can I place an order from galleries that are no longer on the web site?  Call us at 406-861-0763.  For a small fee we can put requested galleries on to a CD.  The CD will include the shopping cart, by using the CD with an active internet connection you can purchase photos just as if the gallery where on our web site.  The fee would be $10.00 for up to 5 galleries and $5.00 for each additional gallery burned to the CD. Five dollars of the CD price will be applied to your order if you place a print order using the disk with in 30 days of purchasing the CD.  The images are not large enough to print and are also protected by federal copyright laws.

Why aren't your prices for portraits posted? We have many different options to choose from for portraiture.  We at CMI Photography do not want our future clients to make a choice on price alone.  That is why we offer to show you  many quality images.  If you are interested in our services we would like to sit down with you, get to know you, and give you the best price for a package that suits your needs.

Aren't your print prices expensive?   Our print prices for event prints are very reasonable.  Our photographs are taken by professional Motorsports photographers, our prints are the highest quality, and the action that we capture is second to none.  You tell me, are our prices too high for high quality, professional photography that captures a once in a lifetime moment?    Plus our pricing includes shipping costs to the lower 48 states.
